When you become a client of G.R. Schofield Insurance, it will be necessary for us to obtain personal information in order for us to determine your insurance needs. Personal Information is information about an identifiable individual but does not include the name, title or business address or telephone number of an employee of an organization.
Depending on your business with our office, we can obtain the information directly from you on applications for insurance, or other forms that are required for the file in order to complete the transaction. It may also be necessary to obtain information from third party groups such as insurance companies, other brokers, credit organizations, motor vehicle and driver licensing authorities, financial institutions and medical professionals.
It may be necessary for us to disclose information to the same third party organizations as listed above. We will however, handle this information with the utmost privacy.
As a client you may refuse to consent to the collection, use or disclosure of your personal information. You may also withdraw a previously given consent at any time. However, based on the business to which the consent must be attached, refusal may inhibit our office from placing this insurance.
